The play “Poet and the Cats” is a phantasmagoric drama for youth (teenagers (14 +) and adults, in which human beings and animals, specifically, cats, live and act on an equal footing. It is the cats who are trying to establish justice that does not exist in the world of humans and get everyone’s favourite poet and writer Daniil Kharms out from Stalin’s prison.
